Who We Are
KATIE MALONE
Director
Katie Malone is the owner and director of Above and Beyond Employment Services. She started the company in October 2015, but has been providing employment services to people with disabilities since May 2010. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Studies from the University of North Texas in Denton. It was here she realized her passion for human services and quickly became an advocate for the disability community. The Rehabilitation program from which she earned her degree emphasizes supporting people with disabilities in achieving their life's goals through actualizing each individual's full human potential. Bringing disability awareness to the workplace is something she strives for with every inch of her being! When she's not working, you can find her with her 3 children and 2 dogs! Katie coaches her youngest daughter's cheer squad, and loves being the crazy, spirited mom in the stands cheering on all her babies [maybe a little too loudly]! Being a mother is her greatest reward, as is being a voice for her clients!

MICHELE MONTGOMERY
Collin County Employment Specialist
Michele Montgomery is a UNTWISE-certified Employment Specialist with a strong passion for advocating for disability rights. Driven by a lifelong commitment to promoting full inclusion and equality for people with disabilities, Michele works to create accessible and supportive opportunities in the workplace. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, she strives to break down barriers and ensure that everyone has the chance to succeed and thrive in their careers.

PEYTON BOLZ
Job Coach
Peyton Bolz was born and raised in Denton, Texas. As a daughter of a school principal, education was in her genes, and she went to school to become a high school teacher. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education, and currently teaches numerous classes related to the human services field. As a high school teacher in the Career and Technical Education Department, Peyton works with a diverse population of students to equip them to be successful after graduation in various career fields. Peyton decided to further this passion by working as a job coach with Above & Beyond with the Summer Earn and Learn Program. She is excited to continue to work with and assist adolescents as they transition into adulthood and learn valuable workplace skills.
LILLIAN MCMINN
SEAL Job Coach
Currently, Lillian McMinn is a senior at Tarleton State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. She is working towards becoming a Criminal Lawyer as she is passionate about helping others. Lillian feels that being a Lawyer will allow for her to help others reach a sense of justice in their lives. Currently, Lillian is a substitute teacher and works with classes of all abilities. She is so excited to extend her passion of helping others as a Job Coach with Above and Beyond! Lillian firmly believes helping others also helps yourself. In helping customers, she believes she will be able to obtain a helping hand from them as well. Different people are able to provide different ideas allowing one to have an open mind and a broader point of view on various subjects, and that is what makes Lillian most excited about being a job coach!
ALYSON HOLDER
Job Coach
Alyson Holder was born and raised in Sherman, Texas. She attended college at the University of North Texas where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Art and Science. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas- Go Mean Green! Aly has a passion for helping others and she became a certified elementary special education teacher. When Aly is not working, she is spending time with her 3 kids and 2 dogs. They love spending time at the pool, bowling, and cooking together! Aly has a huge passion for working with the disability community. She wants to shine light, celebrate differences, and be a voice for them! “Your goals are the road maps that guide you and show you what is possible for your life.” - Les Brown
JO ANN BATSON, M.ED
SEAL Job Coach
Jo Ann Batson was raised in Grapevine, Texas, but her roots always go back to San Benito, Texas where she spent all of her summers. Jo Ann is a former Special Education teacher, where she ran her own specialized units within the school district and found her love for helping students with disabilities thrive while also advocating for their needs. Jo Ann graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Woman’s University and received her Master’s in Education from University of Texas, Arlington. When she’s not working, you can find her spending time with her husband and two boys, or she is either baking or reading. Jo Ann is excited to continue to help her clients grow, learn, and advocate for those transitioning into the workplace.​
