Who We Are
KATIE MALONE
Director
Katie Malone is the Owner and Director of Above and Beyond Employment Services, a company she founded in October 2015. With more than 15 years of experience in employment services, Katie has been dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities since May 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Studies from the University of North Texas in Denton, where she discovered her passion for human services and became a strong advocate for the disability community. The Rehabilitation Studies program emphasized empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their life goals by actualizing their full human potential—an approach that continues to guide Katie’s work today. Throughout her career, Katie has remained committed to promoting disability awareness in the workplace and creating meaningful, competitive employment opportunities for the individuals she serves. She believes that inclusion is not just a best practice, but a responsibility, and she approaches every client interaction with dedication, integrity, and heart. Outside of her professional role, Katie is a proud mother of three and a devoted dog owner. She is also a professional cheer coach and, quite literally, a circus clown. Known for her spirited enthusiasm, she can often be found cheering passionately from the stands at her children’s events. Above all, Katie considers motherhood her greatest blessing—second only to being a strong and unwavering voice for her clients.

Michele Montgomery is a UNTWISE-certified Employment Specialist with a strong passion for advocating for disability rights. Driven by a lifelong commitment to promoting full inclusion and equality for people with disabilities, Michele works to create accessible and supportive opportunities in the workplace. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, she strives to break down barriers and ensure that everyone has the chance to succeed and thrive in their careers.
